Location. The smart Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, between Central Station and Dam Square in the vibrant city centre. Central Station is 600 metres away and Dam Square 800 metres. The hotel is two kilometres from Anne Frank House, while the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are within five kilometres.
Hotel Features. The smoke-free modern Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a marble lobby filled with chandeliers. There is a news-stand and the 24-hour front desk can provide tourist information and currency exchange. The hotel is directly connected by underground walkway to the Koepelkerk Convention Centre, housed in a 17th-century building with huge domed roof.

Styled like a traditional pub, Koepelcafe at the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel serves Dutch beers and cuisine, coffees and light meals. Cocktails and Mediterranean-inspired dishes are on the menu at the Brasserie Noblesse. In summer, guests can dine alfresco at the Patio Room.

The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a business centre. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas. There are 11 meeting rooms located in the adjoining 17th-century building, Koepelkerk Convention Centre.

The hotel's Splash fitness club has a gym, with cardiovascular equipment and weights, a sauna and Turkish bath.

Guestrooms. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel's air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in pale colour schemes, with dark wood furniture and print fabrics. Rooms have satellite television, desks, minibars and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Bathrooms have bath/shower combinations.

Kørselsvejledning

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS):
Distance to Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is 20 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A railway station is located under Schiphol Plaza, in the central hall of the terminal. Every 15 minutes a direct train runs to Amsterdam Central Station, 600 metres from the hotel. Shared Schiphol Travel taxis can be found outside the arrivals hall. The cars can seat up to eight people and cost around 19 EUR per person. Private taxis into Amsterdam city centre cost approximately 40 EUR. Public buses frequently run to Amsterdam and other destinations. Buses 197 and 370 go to central Amsterdam and Amsterdam Zuid. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is located on Kattengat. Amsterdam can easily be explored by foot. However, there are convenient bus, tram and metro services running through the city and outside areas. Cycling is also a popular way to see Amsterdam. There are taxi ranks at the central station. Driving within the canal ring is discouraged. There is parking at the hotel (surcharge).

Driving directions. From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport:
Take the A4 to Amsterdam.
Take the A10 West to Zaandam and take Exit 102 or 103 for Centrum.
Follow the signs towards Centrum then, at Central Station, turn right, signposted Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal.
Keep right (Spuistraat) and then turn into the first street to the right, Kattengat, where the hotel is located.
