Location. The Hampshire Hotel Beethoven is located in the south of Amsterdam, Holland, in the vibrant shopping area Beethovenstraat. It is 200 metres from the spacious and well-manicured Beatrix Park and within one and a half kilometres from the new business district Zuid-As, the international conference centre RAI and the World Trade Centre. Amsterdam Zuid train station is one kilometre from the hotel. Hotel Features. The hotel is a modern brick building with a white-washed interior and violins adorning the walls in honour of the great composer, Beethoven. Multilingual staff work at the 24-hour front desk which has a safe-deposit box. All public areas are air-conditioned.
Hampshire Hotel Beethoven provides a complimentary buffet breakfast which, for the benefit of late risers, is available until 11am.
In the lobby there is a computer with Internet access available to guests at a cost of 5 EUR for 30 minutes.

Expert Tip. The famous Concertgebouw concert hall, built in 1881, is home to mainly classical music, but also stages jazz and more contemporary events. The venue's perfect acoustics have made the hall itself one of the most important instruments of the resident Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

Kørselsvejledning
From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): Distance to Hampshire Hotel Beethoven is 15 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis from the airport will cost approximately 35 EUR. A cheaper but slower option is the Connexxion shuttle bus which runs every half an hour and drops guests directly at the hotel. The journey takes 45 minutes and costs approximately 12 EUR one-way and 19 EUR return.
Getting around. Tram line 5 stops directly opposite the hotel and runs close to many of the city's sights.
Driving directions. From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport take the A4/E19. After 500 metres take the A10 to Ringweg Zuid. Take exit Buitenveldert/Oud Zuid and follow signs to Oud Zuid. After 500 metres, turn right into Amstelveenseweg. After 800 metres, turn right on the Stadioplein. Continue 1.5 kilometres to Beethovenstraat where the hotel is located.
